Digital Marketing Intern – After Hours Productions (with Josh Zeman)
Location: Remote (U.S. preferred)

About After Hours Productions
After Hours Productions is led by award-winning filmmaker Josh Zeman (Cropsey, The Killing Season, Sons of Sam, The Loneliest Whale). Our work spans documentaries, digital content, and multi-platform storytelling that dives into true crime, social issues, folklore, and real-world mysteries.
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to support audience growth and digital marketing efforts across several active projects — including upcoming film releases, livestream initiatives, Sinister with Josh Zeman, and the award-winning feature documentary Checkpoint Zoo. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who loves storytelling, digital culture, and community-driven content.
What You’ll Do
Social Media & Community
Draft social copy and schedule posts across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
Assist in building and nurturing an engaged online community
Monitor comments, messages, and engagement, helping shape and uphold community tone
Identify trending topics and formats for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts
YouTube & Content Support
Assist in managing the YouTube channel (titles, descriptions, tags, playlists, Shorts, end cards, CTAs)
Optimize YouTube content for SEO, CTR, and search visibility
Pull and edit short clips for social (CapCut or Premiere a plus)
SEO + Analytics
Conduct keyword research for YouTube and social platforms
Track growth metrics and surface insights and recommendations
Support repeatable marketing workflows (hashtags, posting calendars, A/B tests)
What You Bring
Strong writing skills and social media fluency
Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and online storytelling formats
Understanding of basic analytics (YouTube Studio, IG Insights, or TikTok Analytics)
Curiosity about documentary storytelling, true crime, and digital fandoms
Organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-moving creative environment
Bonus (not required): Canva, CapCut, Premiere, Slack, or community management experience
